Vicente Gandía is considered the largest winery in Valencia and the surrounding area. In addition, according to the internationally recognized wine guide the Penin Guide, the winery has the best price-quality ratio. The Nebla Verdejo is a very attractive straw yellow wine with green hues and 13% alcohol. A bouquet of fennel and freshly mown grass but also with plenty of tropical fruit (pineapple and mango). The finish is full-round and fruity with characteristic fresh acids. |

The Dona Ermelinda Branco is a unique blend of mainly the indigenous Portuguese grape varieties Fernão Pires and Arinto, supplemented with a hint of Chardonnay and Antão Vaz. The colour is a vibrant lemon yellow, with aromas of fresh citrus, tropical fruit and a hint of flowers on the nose. The wine is beautifully balanced, with a fresh and fruity profile and a long finish. An interesting fact about the Casa Ermelinda Freitas winery: it has been in the same family since 1920, with Ermelinda Freitas breathing new life into the winery after the death of her husband. This wine is a wonderful tribute to the strength and tenacity of Dona Ermelinda. It is an excellent choice for a summer afternoon or as an accompaniment to light fish dishes. |
