Producer Fasoli Gino is a pioneer in organic wine production in the Veneto region of Italy. The Fasoli family, which has been in business for many generations, converted to organic viticulture in 1984. They are committed to producing wines without the use of chemicals, emphasizing quality over quantity. Their approach to biodynamic viticulture is aimed at restoring the balance of nature and reducing the impact on the environment. The portfolio includes several classic Veneto wines such as Valpolicella, Ripasso, Amarone, Soave and Prosecco, all organically produced.
About the Wine This Amarone is a full-blooded, hardcore wine with an intense and refined character. The grapes are dried for 5-6 months and then pressed and vinified, followed by three years of oak aging. The result is a wine with warm, sultry and rich tannins, characterized by flavors of blackberries, Amarena cherries, almond macaroons and ripe plums, complemented by cloves and cinnamon. It is an intense wine that goes well with dishes such as reeper, roast beef, or a steak marinated in balsamic syrup.
This Amarone della Valpolicella stands out for its intensity and rich, complex flavour profile, making it an exceptional choice for special occasions and accompanying dishes.
