Ports of Tinted Light

The pleasant climate of the region and the proximity to the ocean offer excellent conditions for the production of high quality grapes. Portas da Luz is an aromatic wine with a deep colour and rich flavour, with hints of berries and jam.

Vinification:

The grapes were first destemmed and underwent a cold pre-fermentative maceration for 24 hours. The alcoholic fermentation was carried out in small stainless steel vats with temperature control, not exceeding 27°C for 12 days. The wine was partially aged for five months in French and American oak barrels.
